This extends to all manners of ring features, you need to find a retailer who you are confidant in, and lots of people seek this reassurance in the High street. We can't blame you, that big store in your local shopping centre has been there for a long time and they're just round the corner... and they're cheaper than a lot of rings you've seen online.

What you might not realise however, is that quality does not always mean a huge budget is required, and that certainly goes for ring specialists like Aurus London. With High Street jewellers, what you don't always realise is that because they work on mass production their team of jewellery buyers have pinched and scraped away at the ring designs in order to get the cost price to be where they need it, with this comes a difference in quality. This difference affects both the diamonds and the metal, with cost cutting comes hollowed metal to make a light ring, more tiny diamonds which work out to be cheaper, and a low grade diamond injected to make it look whiter. After time these come round to bite you when they metal splits because its weakened, you can't re-size it because the machine made ring cannot be altered, moreover, the diamond becomes cloudy, or worse cracks because it has been weakened through treatment.

We can safely say at Aurus London that none of these practices take place when we make our engagement rings, we only use the highest quality diamonds- certified by one of the top three diamond grading houses in the world: GIA IGI or HRD. With these certificates comes a guarantee, you know what you are purchasing and every quality it holds. We also only use the highest quality of metal, our diamonds are not machine set or cast into the ring.
